![]() My wife and I were looking forward to our stay in Vegas at the end of our nearly 2500 mile journey. We arrived at around 5 PM, Saturday afternoon. We were on our way to Las Vegas, driving back from our week long trip to Yellowstone. It’s reasonably priced for what you get, but if you’re picky, this will probably not work out for you. The location is within walking distance of the monorail station and the Convention Center which was pretty convenient. The dining area is in close proximity to the casino, which is pretty smoky, so this could be an issue for some. The bartender, an older man, seemed a little cranky and not very personable. The facility is pretty outdated and does not have in-room coffee making but does have a small refrigerator. ![]() The bad: the beds were like sleeping on a rock….the mattresses were very firm (too firm for my liking), so it made for a rough nights sleep. The good: it was much quieter than the previous night. ![]() We were gone all day but when we returned, the toilet had been fixed and filters cleaned. The second room was by the pool on the 2nd floor, and was identical to the first room, except the toilet was broke, and the AC filters were pretty bad. The next morning I asked if we could get a different room, which we were able to switch to and the young lady that helped us was very nice. We checked in and our room was on the 2nd floor on the street side, which was pretty noisy throughout the night.
